Can you tell us about your organization?

Pro Logic Computers is an IT support company and managed service provider. It is vital for us to to have remote access to devices so we can provide remote assistance.

How has Manager contributed to your organization?

Manager has given us the facility to be able to support customers remotely.

We are now very familiar with the product and it is very customizable; we have created our own single file installer for it, meaning we can send our clients the relevant installer file so they can connect to the correct gateway (we have different gateways set for different clients).

Being a perpetual license helps us justify getting it in the first instance, too, as other solutions have been subscription-based services.

What feature have you been most impressed with?

The ability to use the file manager and the remote command prompt without affecting the user is very impressive.

Furthermore, if we need to deploy an update to a user’s device or change a configuration file, we can do that without asking the customer to stop using their device

Do you have any other comments?

Manager is reliable, quick and easy to use, as well as easy to deploy. It’s a solid product!

We were established in 1996 and are one of the top and most highly accredited ITADs (IT Asset Disposal) companies in the UK.

What challenges were you trying to solve before you purchased Notify?

As well as email, phones and messaging, we wanted an instant and unavoidable way to get important or emergency information to our staff in a friendly and simple way.

Why did you choose Notify?

We chose Notify because it is a UK-based solution that has a good price tag and is easy to set up and administer.

How is it being used in your organization?

We have the software installed on all staff PCs and laptops. We mainly use it to provide information to our staff about facilities matters.

How and where has it added value for you?

Notify saves time that would have been wasted on delivering messages in person. It’s a much quicker way to get messages out to large numbers of staff.

How have you found working with our team?

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They are always eager to solve any issues we have and the sale of Notify was very straightforward.

Would you recommend Notify?

Yes, Notify is ideal for business or education and even those with little IT skills. It is reasonably priced and very easy to use.

Herring Stores Case Study

Tell us about your company?

Herring Stores is a chain of 5 convenience stores based in South Devon and uses Manager across a number of their locations. The software solution is used through the company’s epos provider, allowing a link between each site to send product files. In addition, Herring Stores uses Manager for remote access to different sites so work can take place from another branch.

What initial challenges did you encounter and how has Manager solved them?

Before the integration of Manager, we would have to travel from site to site to work on individual systems. Now, we can dial in from any branch or even work from home to access the various sites.

How has Manager contributed to your organization?

Travel costs are down as we no longer have to journey to and from different locations – all thanks to the remote access provided by Manager. This also consequently helps us to save time.

Which features have stood out to you?

The features we have found to be the most beneficial are the mobile application and chat.

Do you have any other comments?

I would describe Manager as easy to connect to and one of the best, most versatile pieces of software on the market

Tell us a bit about Brookhaven Memorial Hospital…

Brookhaven Memorial Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital in Patchogue, Suffolk County, New York.

What IT challenges were you trying to solve?

We had specific requirements for the notification solution we wanted to employ. We were trying to find a product to reach all desktops and Citrix clients, that was centrally managed and that had flexible scheduling options.

How is Notify currently being used in your organization?

Notify is deployed house-wide (we have over 1500 licenses) across our medical center and is being used to send scheduled reminders to staff, schedule downtime messages and adhoc/urgent messages as needed.

Why did you choose Notify?

Initially, we had a home-grown notification solution and went with Notify based on a recommendation. Our interim CIO at the time recommended Notify, and, after looking at the demo, the choice was easy. The software has a wealth of features, is really easy to use and is affordable for our hospital.

How/where has Notify added value?

Notify is a great product. It’s easy to install and maintain; a straightforward but very powerful tool. It’s provided us with the flexibility we were looking for and has definitely saved us money.

Would you recommend Notify?

Yes, definitely.

Ameren Missouri has been providing electric and gas service for more than 100 years. The Callaway Energy Center generates approximately 25% of the energy for Ameren Missouri’s 1.2 million customers. Ameren Missouri’s mission is to power the quality of life for its 1.2 million electric and 135,000 natural gas customers in central and eastern Missouri. The company’s service area covers 64 counties and more than 500 communities, including the greater St. Louis area.

What challenges were you trying to solve?

For instructional purposes, the training department at the nuclear facility wanted an alternative method of utilizing media and PowerPoint in the classroom. We found that SoftLINK classroom management software met these goals and provided much more.

How has the SoftLINK classroom management software helped your training program?

Keeping students involved in the presentation and making sure they are at the same point as the instructor. Instructors can maintain control of student computers during presentations and ensure that students are on track.

What feature of SoftLINK is most beneficial in your training?

Controlling the access to other software or websites while in class.

How would you describe the customer service you have received from Applied Computer Systems, Inc?

ACS is very helpful when dealing with questions and issues.

Would you recommend the SoftLINK software to others?

Yes, Callaway has approximately 35 instructors who are constantly faced with providing new and
creative methods of presentation. It is intuitive and easy to learn, two of SoftLINK’s key selling points.
